:: [2] New Job...in Washington D.C. :: Since my last story regarding "WORK SUX", I've got a new job in February. I quit Strayer and now work in D.C. for Navy Medicine. I’m just a contractor of course. It’s hard to get the US government to hire non-US citizen. My company went through a lot to get my security clearance done. It’s not even considered “DONE” yet, I’ve Been waiting for the result for a couple of weeks now. It shouldn’t take too long, just low-level check. I love my new job. Great boss/co-workers. Money is alright but commute sucks. I hate driving to/from D.C. during rush hour. Starting today (May) I’m switching my schedule to 0600 – 1430 to avoid heavy traffic on both Rt.66 and Rt.7
