Skin Brushing: Fighting Cellulite

And I just got a new body brush from Bed Bath and Beyond! I'm being bad today. I went to Red Lobster Restaurant again.  I had lots of bread and a glass of Coke. Hm...m to celebrate my promotion, teehee :P  But no! I'm not giving up on my body just yet. I still want to lose some weight and fit in a cute bikini. There are TWO THINGS I want to try out beside dieting. [1] T-TAPP workout. [2] Skin Brushing. Well, T-TAPP system (video and stuff) is expensive. I don't have a budget for that yet. Brushing skin to clear cellulite sounds easy and cheap enough to start now, so I went out and bought a body brush ($7.99+tax) today. I've been very skinny (100-105 lbs) and fatty (135+ lbs) in the past few years. When body changed, skin changed too unfortunately. I hope this brushing works...

Regular brushing of your skin not only increases surface circulation, it stimulates elimination of cellular waste, softens and smoothes. You can either dry-brush your skin, or brush over an application of oil (try a few drops of an aromatherapy, spray-on dry, or hydrating body oil). Miss Bliss suggests brushing daily, before you bathe, with a clean, firm, natural bristle brush. Note: If your goal is to launch an all-points anti-cellulite attack, your best brushstroking order is as follows: Begin at your feet and brush upward toward your heart, using enough pressure to stimulate circulation, but not enough to 'bruise' you. Brush in circles around your knees, and at the top and inner areas of your thighs. Circle your brush around your abdominal wall, in the direction of your intestines (from the lower right side, move up and across above your belly-button, then down along the left side). Then circle around your breast (or chest... guys can fight cellulite too), and brush upward from your shoulder joint. From the base of your neck, stroke downward to the heart. Lastly, if you can reach your back (try bending over to brush behind), brush up and down along your spine.
